The final presentation is approaching – it’s two days away! I cannot believe we have been in China for more than a week now. Our trip was insanely saturated with cultural events. We visited Yu Graden, Shanghai Circus for the acrobatic show and the Silk Museum. We also enjoyed the Dragon Boat Tour with the night view of Shanghai and went up the Jin Mai Tower for a bird’s eye view of the city. Also, we traveled to SuZhou by bullet train (~200 mph speed) where we visited the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Tiger Hill and took a boat through the Grand Canal which goes through the entire city (Suzhou is called the Venice of the East). We then flew to Beijing to climb the Great Wall (we can be considered heroes now – old Chinese saying) and toured the Summer Palace and the Forbidden City. Somewhere along the way we checked out the Olympic Park (“The Bird’s Nest” stadium and “The Water Cube” pool are pretty cool) and stopped by the Jade Factory (I got myself a little something something there). Wow. I bet I even forgot to mention some moments –  it was a very-very intense and exciting experience. Oh, the food! Very different, but tasty (Peking duck was everybody’s favorite).

Speaking of the client interaction – wow, again. Even though we had a lot of long meetings, we all enjoyed them as they were very informative and useful! We also enjoyed a TWELVE course lunch provided by our client – JinJiang Hotel Group. We got to visit plenty of properties and got an in depth feel of how various locations are operating. It’s about time to wrap things up and deliver the project!!!
