It was one of those late nights while preparing for CAP Reports we realized that we were actually destined for Argentina, but here we were toiling at 10:00pm under cost saving incandescent ‘whatyoumacallit’ tube lights. We realized that it was time to Tango. In case you were wondering, no, we did not tango our way out of Duques. Vinu among others visited the Argentine embassy for tango lessons. He also challenges anyone in the GMBA program to a dance off. It is common knowledge that anything typed in CAP blogs is legally binding.
Next, we moved to Del Campos, an Argentine restaurant which is local to China Town in Washington D.C. On host recommendation we tried the Argentine Malbec, a wine. Needless to say, this gave us a sliver of a glimpse into what awaits us at Mendoza. The food consisted to various marinated and grilled meats served on a common platter for everyone to partake in. I don’t know if it was the wine or the cozy corner table but it was here first that we truly got along as a group. Three hours flew by without a notice. With Argentina within our sights and one week of school to go we are waiting eagerly to board our flights.
