Final preparations for the Turkey CAPsters!

Hi!

Today was busy! In the morning, each team made the final edits and changes to their presentations that will be presented to Sutas tomorrow. We all can’t believe this 5 month project is in its final stages!!

Busy morning for all of us making last minute edits to their final papers and presentations!

For lunch, we went to one of the best kabob places for a … you guessed it… 5 course lunch right on the Bosphorous! We are definitely getting used to the amazing views and food and will probably be in for a shock when we leave Turkey and don’t have Professor Akyuz to take us around in style!

Another amazing lunch beside the bosphorous!

In the afternoon, we had a visit at Bahcesehir University, a university right on the Bosphorous in Istanbul. We had a panel discussion with two different professors, about the US and Turkey relations, and about media and its presence in Turkey. The professors who spoke with us were extremely interesting and allowed us to ask all kinds of questions that sparked new discussion topics.

This evening was busy for most of us practicing our presentations, doing last minute souvenir shopping, and getting last tastes of the authentic Turkish bahklava!

Tune in, in the next few days, for Genevieve’s wrap up of how our presentations and farewell dinner went!!!
